About GraceLaced
July 14, 2007 by Ruth
I’ve always been the type of person to do little personal life inventories every couple years, month, even days, to see if I’m really living the life I want to be living. No matter what the hobby-of-the-month (and they are manifold), my continual pursuit is to be growing deeper and further in the knowledge and demonstration of the grace of God–to be laced with grace in all that I do. GraceLaced is for all of us who want to be more gracious inside and out. It is the conference room for all the how-to-be-laced-with-grace moments in everyday life as we balance the beautiful with the banal, the truth with the trivial, and the frilly with the frugal. Seeing that “all that I do” falls into catagories such as drawing a bath for my children, concocting something gourmet with something in the pantry, sounding out beginning readers with my five yr. old, living chic-ly with children, and anticipating a smoked-oysters and crackers date-night with my husband downstairs after the boys go down, GraceLaced is finding the graciousness in all of it. Please feel free to comment…and may we be of mutual encouragement. Thanks for reading…
Grace and Peace,
Ruth
WOW! breathtaking. brings tears to my eyes. and i’m not kidding. everything about it. a seed of the lord in you breaking the soil just beginning to bloom and already amazinglly beautiful.
Encouraging! I am always asking God for more grace as I live in the world and deal with life’s ups and downs. Without God’s grace, where would we all be!
Thank you for sharing! I truly enjoyed learning about you and reading the verses about grace. I will visit this blog again!
I am a mom of three who found your blog tonight and just needed to read something as positive as this is. Motherhood is wonderful, but at times lonely and overwhelming for me —- needed some encouragement. I guess God led me here. I appreciate your blog.
I have not had a real talk with you in a while. I am glad that I was able to go to your blog and see what has been going on in your life. It is beautiful. You’re pouring out yourself and others are being blessed by your vounerability. I am excited to see that this is just one more way that God is using you and all your talent and giftings as a mother, writer, teacher, cook, seamstress, artist, photographer… the list goes on. I hope we can visit soon.
Love,
Becky
